Dot’s Work in Parkland College Exhibition

A weaving by Dot Replinger is part of the just-opened Parkland College exhibition titled “Around the Block: Artist From Our Neighborhood.” Dot is one of about 60 regional artists featured in the exhibition of contemporary work. The show at the Giertz Gallery at Parkland runs through August 6.

Her fiber art piece selected for the show is titled “After the Flood.” She submitted two others as well—”Sunset and Trees” and “Cascade,” the last of which she thought was her best piece.
