Hamlin Lake Arts Colony, July 5: Monoprints

Dot and Stacey worked all afternoon on monoprints. The process involves rolling out ink onto a Plexiglass plate, adding stencils to create a composition, placing a paper on to the plate (technically, printing), and applying pressure to transfer the image using a kitchen spoon or other instrument.
