Sculpture by Bob

The first four pieces were 3D art projects that I did for a class at Black Hawk College, our local community college, in 2007. The instructor, Joel Erikson, had previously taught with Stacey at Moline High School. He made the experience of making art fun and challenging, and I took an art class at Black Hawk in each of the next five spring semesters.

The last piece is a kinetic sculpture of sorts. It hangs from a cable strung between two trees. The lighting adds some drama, as do strong winds, which get the disk spinning and swinging wildly.
